One GP340 with a spare battery or two radios for two staff members?
The application says "long shift link," but there may be two purchases behind the phrase. One employee works on a single two-way radio and changes the battery. Or two people must be in touch at the same time, each with their own apparatus. A spare battery helps organize the power supply of the first workplace, but does not create a second radio.
One employee: kit with spare battery
For this option, one basic set is requested. GP340 and another compatible HNN9009. In the warehouse list provided GP340 VHF recorded with a charger, antenna and battery. Therefore, a spare battery is considered an addition to the basic set, and not a replacement for the battery that is already on.

Before ordering, think about where the charged reserve is and when it is returned to charging. What you need is an affordable prepared battery, not just the second thing in stock. The compatibility of the existing charger with the selected battery configuration is confirmed separately.
Two employees: two separate jobs
If two people are working at the same time, each should get their own two-way radio. For such a request, the variant of the two basic sets of GP340 is calculated see the product page. The composition indicates two stations, two antennas, two working batteries and agreed charging places. Additional spare batteries include only for a single task.
Two devices require coordination of frequency configuration and configuration of the existing network. The mere fact of buying the same buildings does not mean that employees will already be able to conduct the necessary exchange. Specify who they should talk to: each other, the dispatcher or existing vehicle-mounted stations.

Energy storage is not equal to guaranteed hours
The operating time depends on the battery, its condition and the mode of use of the station. Therefore, the two batteries do not give an automatic promise “for the day”. For quotation, the duration of the shift, the intensity of conversations, access to charging and the order of replacement are important. The supplied configuration HNN9009 and its compatibility with the station are fixed prior to order.

Does a spare battery replace a second two-way radio for a colleague?
Nope. In the first version, one station operates simultaneously. For a second simultaneously working employee, a separate apparatus is needed.
Does the HNN9009 version already include the main battery?
The base GP340 is requested from the warehouse list from the working battery. The additional HNN9009 is reserve; the full composition is fixed in the quotation.
Do two batteries guarantee a day of operation?
Nope. The time depends on the state of the batteries and the station mode. Agree on the real shift, access to charging and replacement procedure.
